The #itsValid Advocacy Campaign came to be when we were tasked to create a poster design for an advocacy we believe in. As someone who knows people who suffer from mental illness I wanted to be someone who helped them find their voice. I wanted to create a safe space for people who suffer from mental illness and to shed light on the stigma against them. That they should not be someone to be afraid of or be treated like they are monsters but instead to be accepted and not treated any differently than people who do not suffer from it.
